Come hear poet and Springfield history teacher Loren Broaddus read from his 2019 book Joe DiMaggio Moves Like Liquid Light! Broaddus will also share a poem commissioned for the 173rd birthday of Pitts Chapel, the oldest African American organization in Springfield.

This will be a socially distanced outdoor event, held at the Phelps Grove Park Pavilion. Refreshments will be provided. All are welcome!
