Courtney Marie Andrews Virtual Book Launch

April 6, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm CDT

Free

“Some people are like monarch butterflies—solitary by nature, on a passionate search for somewhere.”

Please join us for the virtual book launch celebration for Courtney Marie Andrews’s debut poetry collection, Old Monarch.

Andrews’s poetry reads like a transformation, with the figurative Old Monarch as its narrative guide. Documenting this journey, the book is separated into three sections, “Sonoran Milkweed,” “Longing in Flight,” and “Eucalyptus Tree (My Arrival to Rest).” Andrews takes readers on her quest to see a brighter world of possibility within humankind and accept mortality within an ever-changing world.

Andrews will be in conversation with Karla K. Morton, former Texas Poet Laureate.

This celebration is free to attend! Preorder your copy of Old Monarch right here: https://thebookshopnashville.square.site/…/preorde…/1080.
